Today LEGO has made an official statement that will begin designing and creating sets based the popular Indie PC game Minecraft. Back in December the creators of Minecraft started a petition to LEGO Cuusoo, as they are the division that deals with petitions for new creations. Once the petition reached over 10,000 signatures, it was placed in LEGO Review where it passed.

If you're into science fiction, then you must know Doctor who. And if you happen to have a PlayStation 3 or PC then you will be in for a treat, because coming soon is the first ever video game featuring beloved doctor. And here's the first ever trailer featuring actual gameplay from Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock, coming later this year to PlayStation 3, PC and PlayStation Vita. PlayStation Vita able to play full PS3 games, thanks to Remote Play and custom PS3 firmware1/24/2012 Man, those hackers seem to work fast. The Vita has been out for less than two months, and hackers were able to get it working nice with PlayStation custom firmware 3.55. The hack tricks the PlayStation 3 into believing the vita is a mobile device, which allows the Vita to take full advantage of the Remote Play feature. In turn allowing the user to play full PlayStation 3 games, provided you have a high enough bandwidth connection. As this is still in the working stages there is an issue with latency between the controls and the game. But if this is any indication as to how Sony plans to expand the features of Remote Play, then count me in. More footage of games including Red Dead Redemption, and Batman Arkham City can be seen playing friendly with the feature as well. On Homer49's Youtube page. When it comes to racing simulation fanatics, nothing is out of reach, or too expensive to achieve simulation perfection. This year at CES Nvidia was showing off this setup from a company called Virtual Racer X (VRX). They call this the iMotion, and the starting price for it is $32,000.00. The setup comes with everything you see below, the monitors, chair, armatures, steering wheel and pedals. A 5.1 surround sound system, a top end gaming PC, and a copy of their own game iRacing. The setup also supports ganes like F1 2011, Dirt 3, and Battlefield 2 (Kid not included). This setup is also compatible with the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. If you are like me and you love driving but you don't have the guts, or the money, to afford going over the speed limit and risk getting ticketed. Then odds are you probably play racing games, or more notably Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 5 for the Playstation 3. Coming Tuesday January 17th, the collection of over 1000+ cars gets a little bigger with the Car Pack 3 DLC. The pack will feature several new premium cars such as the beautiful 2011 Aston Martin Vantage V12, the ferocious new Lamborghini Aventador , the endurance tuned Jaguar XJR-9 LM Race Car. The latest offering from Mini, the Countrymen, the tree-saving Nissian Leaf, and the very popular classic 1966 Volkswagen Beetle 1200cc. As a fan of Gran Turismo I am very excited for the inclusion of the cars, particularly the Vantage V12 and the Aventador. These are cars that the game should have had a long time ago, especially the Aston, considering the only premium model Aston Martin before that was the 2010 DB9. That now makes 6 that still need to be included. The Aventador should be a treat to drive as well, being as this is the official replacement to the aging Murcielago. The rest will also be welcomed additions in my garage. The Car Pack 3 DLC will cost $5.99 and will be available through the PlayStation Store. |
